The City of Ottawa will be holding a Career Showcase on Friday, June 8, 2018 in Jean Piggot Place at Ottawa City Hall. This 4-hour event will profile the types of career choices at the City, current job openings, and helpful workshops, including tips for creating effective resumes and developing interview skills.
Take part in several career workshops:
- How to create an online profile and apply for positions on ottawa.ca/careers. (Please bring a listing of your work experience to help complete your profile.)
- Effective resume writing and interview skills.
- Hear from employees from diverse backgrounds as well as local community members.
Where: Jean Pigott Place, Ottawa City Hall
When: Friday June 8th 2018 (Coffee, tea and juice available)
All activities have been designed with inclusion in mind. Also note that FM Loop is available in most workshops.
